A little bit about us...
The Whiteshillbillies are a gigging band based out of Stroud, Gloucestershire. A real party band, the 'Hillbillies offer a fun mix of Bluegrass, Country, Rockablily and good old Rock and Roll.
The experienced band members, who have been playing live music for years, came together to form the Whiteshillbillies in about 2016. Since then the band has gone from strength to strength and has become a firm favourite at many of the areas’ live music venues, festivals, weddings and parties. Playing a diverse mix of songs by favourites such as Johnny Cash, The Kinks, Nancy Sinatra, Status Quo and even Disney, an evening with the Whiteshillbillies is guaranteed to be something to remember. Whether you’re there to dance or just sing along, you’re sure to have a good time.
The Hillbillies now perform as a four piece and can play accoustic or fully PA'd electric, featuring a combination of: guitars, bass / double bass, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, vocals and some fairly dangerous dance moves.
